The Foundation For The Defense Of Citizens Against State Abuses (FACIAS) had the first hearing in the trial against the Ministry of Health on Friday, November 10, where they attempt to compel state representatives to declassify the pandemic procurement contracts that the ministry claims do not actually exist. However, a statement from former Prime Minister Florin Cîțu issued at that time confirms the conclusion of a contract for 10 million vaccine doses.

CONTRACTS “DO NOT EXIST?

Within the 'Respect and Responsibility' campaign, FACIAS provides support to all Romanians affected by reactions following Covid-19 vaccination. To achieve this, FACIAS attempted to find out why the Ministry of Health did not inform citizens about potential risks in all the information campaigns it conducted on vaccination, even though these were stipulated in contracts with vaccine producers. The Foundation officially requested the contracts to demonstrate this, but the ministry's response was striking: the contracts do not exist. FACIAS considered this statement to be false, an attempt by the Ministry of Health to conceal the truth and avoid accountability for over 20,000 people who reported adverse reactions. For this reason, FACIAS initiated legal action, with November 24, 2023, being the date when the court will rule on FACIAS's request.

However, the truth comes to light, and we find out that in an official statement, former Prime Minister Florin Cîțu stated in December 2020 that Romania had already concluded a contract for the supply of an impressive number of vaccine doses - 10 million. 'Romania will have about 10 million doses, we have made a contract for 10 million vaccine doses, and based on how things have gone so far, I am sure we will have a very well-organized campaign,' said the prime minister. In this context, it is legitimate to ask who is lying and who is telling the truth.

FIGHTING FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY VACCINE REACTIONS

The Foundation For The Defense Of Citizens Against State Abuses (FACIAS) has taken an active role in supporting those affected by adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine through the launch of the 'Respect and Responsibility' campaign. This initiative aims to hold the state and all involved parties accountable to ensure justice for those who have suffered medically, morally, and financially due to vaccination.

According to the most recent official data provided by the Ministry of Health, Romania has reported 24,163 cases of adverse reactions. The 'Respect and Responsibility' campaign urges Romanian citizens who have suffered after COVID-19 vaccination to contact FACIAS at [email protected], to analyze each case individually and fight for the compensation they deserve.
