În campania electorală pentru alegerile parlamentare, FACIAS a derulat o campanie prin care:

  • a urmărit informarea cetățenilor cu privire la drepturile lor electorale
  • a sesizat și prevenit infracțiunile electorale
  • a stimulat participarea cetățenilor la vot
  • a implicat un număr semnificativ de cetățeni în procesul electoral

În acest context, FACIAS a funcționat ca o curea de transmisie între cetățeni și instituțiile statului în cazurile în care erorile și abuzurile administrației pot fi corijate și nu sunt rodul relei-voințe.

The right to vote and using it

Why do we vote?
Romanian citizens can express their preferences by voting in national referendums, local referendums, national elections for the Parliament and the President of the country, county council, municipal council, and mayor elections, and, since 2007, European Parliament elections. Parlamentul European .

Where do we vote?
You can check the City Hall's list to see where voting stations will be set up in your neighborhood. Each voting station containsis attributed to a number of streets, and you must determine which street belongs to which polling station. If you are not in your hometown on election day, you may vote at any polling place in your hometown.
You can also check if your name is on the voter list at ytne City Hall. You can vote on the supplementary list at the polling station where your street is located if your name does not appear in the electoral list of the polling station where your street is located due to a mistake.
If you are unable to vote at a polling station due to a valid reason, you may request that the transportable voting box be delivered to your home. To do so, you must submit a written request to the polling station's headpresident, explaining why you are unable to vote. The polling station president is the one who instructs the mobile voting box to be delivered to a voter's home.
On the basis of their passport, Romanian citizens voting abroad can do so at one of the polling stations set up next to Romanian diplomatic missions.

When do we vote?

What documents do we need to vote?

(2) Persons who are mentally ill or insane, or who have been placed under interdiction, as well as those who have been convicted of losing their voting rights by a final court ruling, do not have the right to vote.
