Subsequent to the intervention by FACIAS, the representatives of TAROM have proclaimed the inauguration of an email address through which passengers inconvenienced by the cancellation of flights on July 8 can transmit requests and documentation in order to obtain compensation: [email protected]

TAROM mentioned that passengers should provide the following information:

  • Passenger's full name
  • Flight number
  • Copy of travel tickets and reservation code
  • If applicable, proof of payment for additional expenses for accommodation, meals, transportation from the airport to the accommodation and from the accommodation to the airport
  • Compensation method chosen (cash / e-voucher)

The electronic voucher can be used for the purchase of TAROM tickets issued on TAROM-operated flights (with flight number RO) within one year from the date of issue. The voucher is non-refundable.

Passengers who choose to pay the compensation in cash are required to submit their bank details in the following format:

  • Name and surname account beneficiary
  • Bank name
  • Branch
  • Bank address
  • Iban
  • SWIFT/BIC code
  • Account currency
