FACIAS accepted the invitation of the Ombudsman Institution and participated on 30.05.2023 in an event organized with representatives of the NGO environment.
During this event, the annual activity report of the MNP was presented, to which FACIAS has also contributed by regularly participating in assessment visits to centres for the elderly, habilitation and rehabilitation centres for persons with disabilities, places of detention, etc., within the framework of the protocol concluded between FAICAS and the People's Advocate Institution - Field on prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in places of detention - MNP.
FACIAS has been collaborating with the Ombudsman Institution since 2016, throughout this period, FACIAS has reported abuses identified in the evaluated centres and issued recommendations for the respect of the rights of the beneficiaries.
