Following the case of bullying in Bacau, in which a 12-year-old student was beaten and humiliated by his peers in the courtyard of the high school during class, FACIAS referred to the Committee for the investigation of abuse, corruption and petitions of the Chamber of Deputies the fact that the anti-bullying law (221/2019) does not provide concrete sanctions and asked the committee to propose to supplement the law with sanctions for the responsible persons concerned by it. FACIAS filed a complaint against the Financial Supervisory Authority on 21.03.2023, regarding the possible commission of service offences, namely abuse of office, provided for in Article 297 Act. 1 of the Criminal Code or negligence in the performance of duties, provided for in Article 298 of the Criminal Code, in connection with the failure to perform, or the performance in breach of the law, as from 2020, of the supervisory and control duties exercised by the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) in relation to the activity carried out in Romania by EUROINS ROMÂNIA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE S.A.
