1. INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
This form of assistance is provided to individuals who require the aid of a lawyer in cases of state abuse. Their files are examined, and they are assisted in drafting complaints, memorandum, and appeals. Facias thus assisted individuals who had numerous litigations with the state, such as interceptions, restitutions, abusive dismissals from the public system, pension recalculations, police / court abuses, and so on.
FACIAS lawyers are the only ones who can provide you with this kind of advice.
Depending on the severity of the situations, the average number of people who received this form of counseling on a weekly basis was 15-20.
2. REMOTE COUNSELING
FACIAS lawyers provide this type of service at our offices or over the phone to clients who have or fear they have an issue with the state.
The number of individuals who benefited from this service was approximately 10-15 people per day, but this number fluctuated depending on FACIAS's active campaigns (during the STOP BOC campaign or during the lawsuit against the pension cut measure, the number of people calling FACIAS daily increased to approximately 100 people per day).
3. COUNSELING VIA CORRESPONDENCE
This type of activity was conducted through letters or emails to those who were unable to visit FACIAS headquarters due to distance or other reasons. The petitioners provided the research with copies of files or notes detailing numerous incidents of abuse. After reviewing the relevant files or memorandum, the FACIAS lawyers responded to these concerns on a daily basis. Between 2008 and 2017, there were between 5 and 10 cases each day that required legal advice.
Project active between 2008 to 2017
