Dear Minister,
The Foundation for the Defense of the Citizen Against State Abuses (FACIAS) draws your attention to the very serious case of a 12-year-old child who, on 8 April 2022, was beaten and humiliated by his classmates at the "G.J.Canciov" Technological High School in Parincea. Shocking is the fact that the aggression happened in the courtyard of the High School during class hours and cost in beatings from 4 other students, they locked him in a metal cage and kicked him, which caused the minor bruises, swelling, from hard bodies, which also appears on the forensic certificate obtained by him.
Although almost a year has passed since the aggression against the pupil Ionuț Malinescu, no measures have been taken against the persons responsible for supervising and preventing such incidents. Even the Bacău County School Inspectorate remained passive in the face of what happened, even though this had been brought to the attention of Mrs Anca Egarmin - General School Inspector of Bacău.
Moreover, on 17 February 2023, a new aggression took place against the same student, when the minor was waiting for the minibus, when two students (one of them being the aggressor in the first case) hit him in the face, aggression that resulted in 2/3 days of medical care, according to the forensic certificate. According to the father, the other children came up from behind and hit him in the face with a piece of icy snow, which broke his cheek in the cheekbone area. No action was taken either.
Minister, we know that this case has also come to your attention and you have ordered an investigation. In this context, we would ask you, for the sake of correct and transparent information for the public, to inform us:
- The objectives and conclusions of the investigation carried out in the above case.
2. The measures that have been ordered against the persons responsible.
3. The date of the investigation also concerned the activity of the Bacău County School Inspectorate.
