1. PROJECT ORGANIZER AND PARTNERS

The "SECOND CHANCE" project is organized by Dan D. Voiculescu Foundation, based in Șos. Gheorghe Ionescu Sisești, no. 31-41, Vila 35, Sector 1, Bucharest,

In partnership with:

  • Foundation for the Defense of Citizens Against State Abuses (FACIAS), based in Șoseaua Gheorghe - Ionescu Sisești no. 70E, sector 1, Bucharest,
  • Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, based in Grigore Mora Street, no. 11, sector 1, Bucharest,
  • Foundation for Education and Vocation, headquartered in Bd. Mareșal Averescu no. 15B / C, sector 1, Bucharest.

The regulation is prepared by the Organizer and will be made public in electronic form on the websites of the project partners: facias.ro, fundatiadanvoiculescu.ro and fedevo.ro. The regulation can be requested by any person by sending an email to the e-mail address [email protected]

The organizer reserves the right to amend or change these Regulations, and the changes will take effect only after they have been publicly announced, by posting an announcement on the partners' website.

Project participants are obliged to comply with the terms and conditions of this Regulation.

2. DURATION OF THE PROJECT

The project "SECOND CHANCE" takes place between 01.06.2022-01.12.2023.

3. PROJECT PARTICIPANTS

The project is addressed to people with full exercise capacity, over the age of 18 who want to perform in life, to fulfill their destiny, to find their vocation, to reach their potential or who consider that they have not achieved their goals professionally and socially due to their external circumstances (which were not related to a personal choice) and which need guidance, support to rebuild their professional and social path.

Performance means the realization of reasonable plans that a person has proposed to consider himself spiritually and / or materially fulfilled.

The project is organized and carried out in Romania. The project is also addressed to Romanians in the diaspora. For additional information, those interested can send an email to [email protected]

4. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The “SECOND CHANCE” project consists in conducting a dialogue with Prof. Dan Voiculescu, at the FACIAS headquarters in Gheorghe Ionescu Sisești Street no. 70E, sector 1, Bucharest or by video call. Following the discussion, a series of conclusions will be drawn to guide the project participant on the road to "SECOND CHANCE".

5. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MECHANISM

a) The registration in the project will be made ONLINE by filling in the form published on thesites: facias.ro, fundatiadanvoiculescu.ro and fedevo.ro.

b) Each person will fill in the form only once, on one of the sites mentioned above. A participantcan submit only one application.

c) To enter the selection stage, in order to prepare the meeting with Prof. Dan Voiculescu, theapplication must contain all the information requested in the form, an updated CV with a recent photo and a description of the decisive moments in the life of the person enrolling in project and the reasons why it does not feel fulfilled.

d) The selection will be made by a committee consisting of a representative of the Organizerand the Project Partners based on the information in the form completed online. The commission will be chaired by the representative of the Organizer.

In analyzing the applications, the committee will consider the following:

  • The type of problem reported;

  • Willingness to make sacrifices to get a "SECOND CHANCE";
  • Reasonability / possibility of obtaining a "second chance";
  • The persons indicated in the application form who can give references about the one who registers in the project.

e) The meeting with prof. Dan Voiculescu will have a duration of approx. 60 minutes. Thediscussion will mainly address the decisive moments in the life of the participant and the reasons why he does not feel fulfilled. 

f) Appointments will be announced by phone at least 5 days before the date set for participationin the meeting. Any changes to this program will be announced at least 48 hours before the date of the discussions. In exceptional cases, the announcement of program changes can be made with min. 3 hours before the time set for the discussions.

g) The scheduled persons will confirm in max. 72 hours from receiving the invitation toparticipate in the discussions within the project "SECOND CHANCE" by sending an email to [email protected]. The meeting can be rescheduled only once for a later date and time.

h) Depending on each situation, the initial discussion may be followed by other meetings withexperts and / or specialists, depending on the field from which the situation comes.

6. RESPONSIBILITY

6.1. Participation in this Project implies full, express and unequivocal knowledge andacceptance of this Regulation.

6.2. Discussions within the “SECOND CHANCE” Project are strictly consultative and confidentialand do not generate any form of legal liability of the organizer and project partners for the subsequent statements or actions of the persons participating in the dialogue.

6.3. No fees will be charged to the beneficiaries in this project.

7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

7.1. In order to carry out the Project, the personal data of the data subjects will be processed, asOperators, in accordance with the legal provisions in force by:

  • Foundation for Education and Vocation, headquartered in Bucharest, Bd. Mareșal Averescu no. 15B / C, Floor 1, Fiscal Code 28028281.

7.2. The organizer and the partners undertake to comply with the legal provisions on theprotection and processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data throughout the project and thereafter.

8. TERMINATION OF THE PROJECT

8.1. The Project may terminate prematurely only in the event of a force majeure event, includingin the event of the inability of the Organizer and Partners, for reasons beyond their control, to ensure the smooth running of the Project.

9. DISPUTES

9.1. Any disputes between the Organizer and the Partners, on the one hand, and theparticipants, on the other hand, regarding any aspect related to the development of the Project will be settled amicably.

10. OTHER CLAUSES

This Regulation enters into force on the date of start of the project, respectively on June 1, 2022 and is valid for its entire duration, respectively until 01.12.2023.
