The Foundation for the Defense of the Citizen Against State Abuses (FACIAS) has become a member of the international Citizen Network, the only organisation in Romania with this status.
With the declared objective of defending citizens against abuses of the state, FACIAS constantly undertakes actions aimed at normalizing the relationship between citizens and decision-makers, and at highlighting the abuses, negligence and incompetence of those who lead us.
Citizen Network is a global organisation that promotes democracy, civil rights and citizen involvement in decision-making processes. Membership of the network means that FACIAS will work with international partners to exchange experience and implement best practice in defending citizens' rights.
This affiliation is not only a recognition of FACIAS's efforts, but also an incentive to continue and intensify activities for the benefit of Romanian citizens.
