Following the action provided by facias, TAROM has announced that it is making available the email address [email protected], where affected travelers can send their claims for compensation.
The Foundation For The Defense Of The Citizens Against State Abuses provides all passengers who have suffered from the humiliating conditions at Otopeni Airport with a legal tool to obtain the compensation they deserve.
Thus, FACIAS provides on its website www.facias.ro the draft of an action in tort, which any injured person may pursue before the competent court, in this case the Buftea Court.

It is possible for any citizen to download and complete the aforementioned action. Once the application has been filed with the court in each lawsuit, FACIAS will intervene in order to defend the rights that have been violated.
It has been documented on numerous occasions by FACIAS that the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) provides travellers passing through Henri Coandă International Airport with conditions that are both unsanitary and unhygienic. These conditions include unclean toilets, a lack of air conditioning, and outdated, unrenovated, and unhygienised spaces. These deficiencies render the experience of transit for travellers unbearable, particularly in instances where their flights have been delayed or even cancelled. Furthermore, the CNAB's and the airlines' mismanagement has resulted in strikes by airport personnel and pilots.
FACIAS maintains that those responsible for the aforementioned conditions must be held accountable and urges passengers to seek redress through the judicial system.
