The Foundation for the Defense of the Citizen Against State Abuses (FACIAS) participated in the General Assembly of the Association for Local Democracy (ALDA), held on 6-9 June in Etterbeek, Brussels. The annual event, emblematic of the European network's efforts, brought together a wide range of social actors who share a common vision: protecting and promoting citizens' rights.
FACIAS promotes the interests of Romanian citizens in the European community
By participating in this major event, FACIAS continues to be actively involved in the European community to promote the interests of Romanian citizens. At the same time, it identifies best practice models and collaborates with European partners to develop policies that are closer to citizens' needs.
This participation is a crucial step towards a future where citizens are protected, informed and active in society. We expect the impact of this participation to be felt in FACIAS's future activities, as the Foundation amplifies the voice of Romanian citizens, strengthening partnerships and promoting citizens' rights within the broad framework of European democracy.
