They were diagnosed late, which led to a worsening of their health by not intervening in time. In other cases, already diagnosed, they were postponed to interventions that would not have been emergencies, although this automatically led to a worsening of the condition. Then, many, overwhelmed with grief, gave up fighting for justice, because, who will do them justice, the coworkers of those they believe are guilty of unprofessionalism or indifference?<\/p>\n Dramatic situations in rural areas, related to family doctors who, although they have paid services, do everything they can to avoid going to the inaccessible patient, at home, if his condition worsens. They have a general answer: call the ambulance! If, after insistence or because you happen to know the laws and rights of the patient, but also the obligations of the family doctor, you determine him to come to the patient, outside the office hours of the office, you even offer to pay for transportation, he comes, he writes you the prescription, but he doesn't give him first aid, he forgets to measure, for example, the level of oxygen saturation, because he doesn't have the necessary equipment, even though he knows that the patient is breathing hard. As a patient, you are unlucky if you did not have a pulse oximeter in the house (its cost is around 100 lei). The family doctor reached the patient, wrote the prescription and that's it: the patient needs to find a nurse who can put a band-aid, not the nurse in the office or the doctor, although you expect him to be able to do this, following a specialised university.<\/p>\n Yes, there have been painful situations that reduce confidence in the health system, after such experiences. And, if they account for 20% of all cases, it is very high and produces casualties.<\/p>\n When we wanted to find out, for example, why this is happening and we contacted medical staff on condition of anonymity, many of them told us that this was the result of superficial employment, not on professional merits in the health system. This leads to paradoxical situations when those who know the profession well are overloaded to treat patients because the \"ones with connections\" do not know or are protected.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n No matter how beautiful and dignified we may try to wrap our situation to appear, it's not healthy to pretend we don't see it. We have heroes in real white robes, but we also have the other side of the coin, people who ought to save you, but they don't have the ability, the science or the will.<\/p>\n That is why we always encourage you to report incorrect, abusive situations that violate your rights. They will invariably lead here. If we do not do something, who will do it for us and for the rights of our loved ones?<\/p>\n To conclude on an optimistic note, we tell you that just a few minutes before publishing this material, for example, at the County Hospital in Craiova, we were informed of the situation of a treated professional patient, he and his relatives, including the part communication related to the patient's condition from intensive care, hospitalised during the night, even if the activity of the doctor and medical staff was intense.
