The path of state abuse against its own citizens is often paved by ambiguous<\/strong>, confusing<\/strong> or contradictory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Legislation gives rise, in practice, to legal provisions with multiple interpretations and, often, the parties (the state in this case), use any legislative loophole to justify their abusive position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An equivocal legal framework does not benefit the citizens, for whom the laws become difficult to understand, and the possibility of interpreting the legal norms gives rise in practice to many abuses of state institutions, under the protection of the legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lawmaking process should take at least two aspects into account. The first is the content, so that the rules are SIMPLE, clear and easy to understand, and the second is the impact of the legal rules, which should be PREDICTABLE. This would make the relationship between citizens and the state transparent and limit the number of potential abuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the framework of the project \"ABUSE, AT THE HAND OF WRONG LAWS\" FACIAS will identify and ask the authorities to correct the laws that allow any kind of abuse by the state against natural, legal persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will make every effort to combat the abuses of the state and we hope that in this endeavour we will be as many as possible. For this, your contribution is essential and the more we are, the stronger we will be.
